In Colorado, water is life. Respect for our limited, natural resource runs hand in hand with providing all consumers a sustainable water supply at the best price possible. The District has encouraged water conservation through more than 30 years of water reuse as well as water conservation rebate incentives, and conservation based pricing. The District is one of the regional leaders in the use of renewable water supply sources.
The Inverness Water and Sanitation District is responsible for the distribution of water for use to residents and businesses within the District, and the maintenance, repair and replacement of all mains, hydrants, valves and service facilities owned by the District. The District relies upon multiple water supply sources to secure reliable long-term water supply and storage.
The District is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the sewage collection system in a sound and economical manner.
