Rules and Regulations

Article I

 

100 – General

 

.01 SCOPE. This regulation shall be treated and considered as a new and comprehensible regulation, governing the operations and functions of the Inverness Water and Sanitation District, and shall supersede previous informal practices and policies of the District, which are in conflict with the provisions hereof.

 

.02 PURPOSE. The purpose of these Rules and Regulations is to provide for the administration and operation of the water and sanitation system of the Inverness Water and Sanitation District.

 

.03 POLICY. The Rules and Regulations hereinafter set forth will serve the public in securing the health, safety, prosperity, security, and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Inverness Water and Sanitation District.

 

.04 AMENDMENTS, MODIFICATION, WAIVER OR SUSPENSION. These Rules and Regulations may be amended, from time to time, by the Board of Directors, as it deems appropriate and such amendments shall be entered in the minutes of the District, and periodically incorporated in printed copies of these Rules and Regulations. The Board reserves the right to modify, waive or suspend any portion of these rules in its discretion, if it is in the best interest of the District to do so.
